About this campground

This interpretive pull-out overlooking the Sweetwater River and Buckskin crossing tells the story of the crossing and its previous owner "Buckskin Joe" The site is at the edge of private land. Please respect the private landowner and stay on the road. This is a fee-free site. This site is ADA accessible.

Getting there

Take State Highway 28 to mile marker 7. Go North on to county road 4-10 / 23-118 thirty-seven miles to Buckskin Crossing.
