Cancelling
- How: use the subscription-management link in any Square receipt email, or email hello@getparkalerts.com from your account email with the word “cancel.”
- Effect: future billing stops immediately. Your alerts keep running until the end of the month you already paid for — you lose nothing you paid for.
- There are no cancellation fees, minimum terms, or contracts.
Refunds
- First 7 days:if GetParkAlerts isn't for you, email us within 7 days of your first charge and we'll refund it in full — no questions asked.
- After that: monthly charges already billed are generally not refunded for partial months — cancelling stops all future charges instead.
- Service failures:if an outage on our side meaningfully broke your alerts for a billing period, tell us — we'll refund or credit that month. We'd rather lose $9.99 than your trust.
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Square, typically within 5–10 business days.
One honest caveat
A subscription month is not refundable just because a specific campsite didn't open up. We sell the watching, not the campsite — availability is controlled by ReserveCalifornia and other campers, and our Terms spell out that no specific reservation outcome is guaranteed.
