About this campground

This reservoir is located in the scenic grasslands of Shirley Basin. Fishing is a popular use of this reservoir. This is a primitive site with no facilities.

Getting there

From State Highway 487, 22 miles north of Medicine Bow, take the State Highway 77 turnoff. Proceed 6.1 miles to unmarked BLM route 3127. Take a right onto that route. Stay right at the fork .7 miles in, and continue for another 1 mile to Shirley Basin Reservoir.
