The Blackrock Ranger Station is located 8 miles East of Moran Junction on Highway 26/287. The office is open Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Maps and Forest information are available at the front desk. An outdoor restroom is available for visitors. Phone number is 307-543-3900.

Getting there

Starting from Moran, Wyoming (located 27 miles south of Yellowstone National Park’s south entrance and 19 miles north of the Town of Moose, Wyoming), head east on United States (US) Highway 26/287 for approximately 8 miles. The Blackrock Ranger Station is located on the south side of US 26/287. Approximate travel details from Moran: 8 miles, 10 minutes.
