This is the trailhead for Gander Lake Trail.

Getting there

From the traffic signal in Oakridge, Oregon turn onto Crestview, proceed over the overpass and turn right at the next intersecton (1st Street). Travel through Oakridge to Forest Road 24 (Salmon Creek Road) and continue for 10 miles to Forest Road 2417. Follow Forest Road 2417 for 8.5 miles to Forest Road 2417-253. Proceed on Forest Road 2417-253 for 1 mile to road's end and the trailhead. Map Location: T.20 S., R.5 ½ E., W.M., Sections 28, 33 & 34
