About this campground
Provides access to the High Knob Fire Tower; one of the most outstanding viewing spots on the George Washington National Forest. Portions of this trail are very steep. Please be respectful of private landowner property at the top of the trail. Trail Open To:
Getting there
From Harrisonburg, VA: Travel on SR 33 for approximately 20 miles to the top of the Shenandoah Mountain. Park at the gate on the left. Hike approximately one mile on FT #1024 – Shenandoah Mountain Trail North, until you reach the High Knob Trail on your right.
