About this campground

The Forest partners with the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation in offering many miles of snowmobile trails for winter fun and adventure. Travel to Smith's Ferry just 60 miles north of Boise along Highway 55 and visit Wellington Snow Park.  There are over 400 miles of trails, 250 of which are groomed, with access to McCall and Cascade.    Another great ride in the same area is the Winter Wonderland Trail. It leaves the meadows of Smith's Ferry, weaves past the towns of Cascade and Donnelly and crosses the mountains, offering spectacular scenic vistas at over 7,900 feet-before reaching MCCall.  For more information on how to register and to print a detailed map of snowmobile locations and designation, visit:  www.parksand recreation.idaho.gov
