About this campground

Closed for the season 10/1/21.  Tucked back near the Vedauwoo campground and day use area is the Vedauwoo gazebo. Follow signs for Box Canyon/East Turtle Rock TH. The gazebo offers a nice shaded area in the trees with a beautiful rock backdrop for occasions such as weddings, family reunions, and group picnics. The gazebo can accomodate up to 50 people, with fire pits and picnic tables on site. Vault toilets and trash receptacles are a short walk away. Reservations available through recreation.gov

Getting there

From Laramie, WY, take Interstate 80 east 15.8 miles to Vedauwoo Road/ exit 329. Exit and go to stop sign; turn left onto Vedauwoo Rd. and go 1.2 miles. Turn left at sign and go 0.6 miles to parking area on the left.
