About this campground

Recommended Users: Mountain Bikers, Hikers. Most riders park in downtown Santa Clara City and ride in on Stucki Springs Road for an extended ride of 9.7 miles (one way). Keep in mind that Stucki Springs Road is open to OHVs and can see heavy use on weekends. You can ride out and back or park a second vehicle at the Bloomington Trailhead (see Bearclaw-Poppy Trail). The trail starts on the left side of the road just short of its namesake Stucki Springs (now identified by a large stock watering trough).

Getting there

Stucki Springs Road - From St. George, travel north on Bluff Street. Turn left on Sunset Blvd. Continue on Sunset Blvd as it turns into Santa Clara Drive. Turn left on Gates Lane (just before reaching the Jacob Hamblin Home on the right). Cross the river and at 0.4 miles turn left on Stucki Springs Road. At 0.7 miles, park in the pullout on the left or continue for 2 miles on a rugged 4 x 4 track. Park in the small pullout at the beginning of the trail. NOTE: Stucki Springs Road is suitable only for high clearance, 4 x 4 vehicles.
