Boating and fishing, with a day use area. Access to lake shore is good.

Getting there

Johnson Reservoir Rec Site  is approximately 50 miles southeast of Richfield, Utah. Head east on UT-118 N/E 300 N toward N 100 E 0.8 miles. Continue straight onto UT-119 E 8.8 miles. Turn right onto UT-24 E 23.1 miles. Turn left onto UT-25 N 10.0 miles.Continue onto FR640 for 6.3 miles. Continue straight on FR036 for 1.1 miles and  then turn right at the entrance.  This site can also be accessed approximately 30 miles northeast of Loa, on Utah route via UT-24 and UT-25 or approximately 22 miles northwest of Loa, on Utah route via UT-72 and UT-25 (open May through October, weather permitting).
