About this campground
From the parking area the trail system descends into the canyon bottom, providing access into the many scenic side canyons of the Dirty Devil River, such as Robbers Roost, Buck, Pasture, Happy, No Mans, Larry, and Sam's Mesa Box Canyons. Due to the remoteness of the Angel Point East trailhead, it is utilized much less than the west side. However, it provides access to the same locations as Angel Point West. For those that are attempting to access the mouth of Robbers Roost Canyon, crossing the river is not necessary when using the Angel Point East Trailhead.
