About Joe Pool Lake
Joe Pool Lake is a 7,400-acre impoundment located in the southern portion of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The lake is centrally located between Dallas and Fort Worth and has four developed parks: Britton Park, Cedar Hill State Park, Loyd Park and Lynn Creek Park. Local attractions within a 20-mile radius of the Joe Pool Lake include: Six Flags Over Texas, Hurricane Harbor Fun Park, The Ballpark at Arlington (Texas Rangers Baseball), Texas Stadium (Dallas Cowboys Football), Penn Farm at Cedar Hill State Park, and Lonestar Park at Grand Prairie (horse racing).
