About this campground

From the Scott Pass trailhead, this 3.4 mile trail travels west to tiny South Matthieu Lake where it joins the Pacific Crest Trail #2000 within Three Sisters Wilderness. There are three designated camping spots here which are popular with both weekend and Pacific Crest Trail through hikers.  Before reaching the Pacific Crest Trail #2000 junction from Scott Pass trailhead you will reach the junction with Trout Creek Tie Trail #4067 which provides access to theMillican Crater Trail #4066. To make this a one-way hike, drop a vehicle at Lava Camp Lake trailhead on Hwy 242.
