Getting there

From Butte Falls, OR, travel 1.0 mile east out of town until you reach the Prospect - Butte Falls Highway 992. Turn left and continue traveling for 25 miles until you reach Red Blanket Road. Turn right and continue straight ahead until you come to a fork in the road. Continue left and this will be Forest Road 6205. Follow Forest Road 6205 until it ends, approximately 13 miles. The trail begins here. From Prospect, OR, take the Prospect - Butte Falls Highway towards Butte Falls, OR, for approximately 1 mile to Red Blanket Road. Turn left and this will be Forest Road 6205. Follow Forest Road 6205 until it ends, approximately 13 miles. The trail begins here.
