About this campground
The BLM's Mill Creek Recreation Site is located in Polk County, Oregon approximately 22 miles west of Salem, Oregon. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Mill Creek Recreation Site sits along Mill Creek offering a quiet day-use site with picnic tables, seasonal vault toilet, bulletin board, and parking. No camping is allowed. The BLM has an agreement with Polk County to maintain the site. Know Before You Go This is a day-use only site; no camping is allowed. Fires are limited to the steel fire rings and grills. No potable water available. No designated river access point.
Getting there
Drive approximately 21 miles west of Salem, Oregon on OR-22. Turn left on Mill Creek Road and travel approximately 2.5 miles to the BLM's Mill Creek Recreation Site. You will pass the Polk County's Mill Creek Park on the left prior to crossing a bridge. Mill Creek Recreation Site parking will be on the right.
