Getting there

From Applegate, OR, drive south on Upper Applegate Road 8 miles to the Applegate Dam. Turn left crossing the dam and drive 3 miles on Squaw Creek Road 1075 to Dagelma Trailhead. Two trailheads are located at Dagelma. The trailhead to the right of the parking lot leads to the Calsh, Sinns Bar and Prospector Loop trails. The trailhead to the left leads to the Osprey and Prospector Loop trails. If hiking the Prospectors Loop Trail, it is best to take the trail to the right and return on the left side of the loop. This makes for less climbing and more downhill travel!
