The Skirvin Hilton, built in 1911 and a member of Historic Hotels of America® since 2008 was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. Skirvin set about building the finest hotel in the Southwest. The moment it opened in 1911, Oklahoma fell in love with the Skirvin.
