About this campground
In the Pavilion Visitor Center, visitors may acquire tickets for guided tours of the Vanderbilt Mansion at the front desk helmed by a ranger. Tours begin in the Pavilion followed by a short walk to the mansion. Bathrooms are available in the visitor center during operating hours. A small exhibit containing historic objects and information about the Vanderbilt family exists in the visitor center along with an NPS stamp station.

The park is located in the town of Hyde Park, New York, a semi-rural area approximately 6 miles north of Poughkeepsie on Route 9.
