About this campground

The trail provides a much less used route up Mt. Kearsage (3,268 ft.) after passing Shingle Pond. The summit has an historic fire tower which can be accessed by the public and offers excellent views.

Getting there

This trailhead is located on Hardwood Hill Rd. (FR 317) 0.1 miles from S. Chatham Rd.; FR 317 leads to S. Chatham Rd. at 4.9 miles from ME 113 in N. Fryeburg.
