About this campground
A popular backing and horse camping trail accessing the Lee Metcalf Wilderness - Taylor Hilgard Unit into Sedge Meadows, Taylor Falls, and the Taylor Hilgard Mountain Range. Trail can be connected for possible shuttle loop to Beaver Creek Trailhead. Trail #17 known as Lightning Creek Trail takes off from the trailhead and multiple connector trails are possible.
