About this campground

Salo Lake is a quiet lake with a picnic area, dock, and concrete boat landing. Some of the fish found in the lake include panfish, bass, walleye and northern pike.  Downloadable information and map

Getting there

Salo Lake is located 25 miles southeast of Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota. From Hoyt Lakes take Highway 110 for 13 miles Turn left (east) on County Highway 16 for 7.5 miles Turn right (south) on Highway 44 for 4.5 miles. Turn left onto Salo Lake Road/ Twp 6210. The picnic area and boat landing entrance is about 1 mile down this road.
