About this campground
Richard Cronin Aquatic Resource Center was established in 1982 to hold and spawn sea-run Atlantic salmon and incubate salmon eggs for stocking programs on the Connecticut River. The Cronin Aquatic Resource Center is now engaged in conducting research with many universities and State partners to recover endangered species, and restoring imperiled species of freshwater mussels. We can offer educational tours of our operations for universities and high schools; we are not able to offer general tours for the public.
Getting there
Follow MA-9 E/State Route 9 E and MA-116 N to E Plumtree Rd in Sunderland. Turn right onto MA-9 E/State Route 9 E/Bridge St (signs for Hadley Amherst). Turn left onto MA-116 N. Turn right onto E Plumtree Rd
