About this campground
The trailhead for the Rattlesnake Trail within the Emmett Ranger District has one panel kiosk and a parking area.
Getting there
From Boise, Idaho, take State Highway 55 north 35 miles to Banks, Idaho approximately 35 miles. At Banks, turn (right) east onto the (Banks-Lowman Road) State Highway17 and proceed to Crouch, Idaho. From Crouch, to reach the trailhead, travel north on (Middle Fork Payette River Road) Forest Service (FS) Road 698 for approximately 14.9 miles to the junction with FS Road 671. Take a right on FS Road 671 and travel approximately 3.6 miles to Rattlesnake Summit. At the summit, take a right on FS Road 671F. The trailhead is immediately on the left
