About this campground
The Miami Museum of Science is in the process of creating a 250,000 square-foot Science Center of the Americas, which will be a cutting-edge blend of a natural history museum, nature center, science-technology facility, and destination attraction. Planned features of the new center include a "Dinosarium," an "Ancient Americas Hall," "Caribbean Crossroads," a "Hands-On Hall of Science," and "Ecolinks"--a walk-through display depicting the Everglades, coral reefs, and tropical rain forests. The affiliation involves a close relationship with the National Museum of Natural History and with several of the Smithsonian's research units.
