About this campground
This site provides four campsites with picnic tables and BBQ stands or fire rings and an ADA-Accessible Vault Toilet. Access by boat or narrow dirt road (trailers not recommended) south of State Bridge Landing. For more information, please contact the Colorado River Field Office.

OverviewThe Upper Colorado River Recreation Area spans a unique and beautiful landscape, known for its diverse water features, abundant wildlife, and cultural landscapes along the Colorado River Headwaters Scenic Byway. There are many notable segments of the Upper Colorado River Area, but the popular Pumphouse Recreation Area offers camping opportunities. This area combines calm boating waters through heritage ranchlands with more challenging rapids in the intervening canyons. Please be aware of dangerous rapids and practice water safety. Getting there
Take I-70 Exit 157 at Wolcott. Travel north .2 miles to stop sign. Turn west onto frontage road (Highway 6) for .4 miles. Turn north onto Highway 131 and follow to State Bridge for 10.6 miles.
