About this campground
The recreation site is a trailhead parking area which provides access to a trail leading to the top of the mountain. The views are expansive and scenic.
Getting there
The recreation site is located at the confluence of the Colorado and Eagle rivers. Exit Interstate Highway 70 at Dotsero and drive west along the access road. Cross the Colorado River and enter the traffic circle. Take the traffic circle exit to go north on Colorado River Road. The parking area is located a few hundred yards north of the traffic circle and on the left side (west) of the road.
