near Creede, south of Highway 149, connects with West Trout Creek Trail #811 to Trout Lake and CDNST and East Trout Creek Trail # 810 to CDNST

Getting there

From the town of Creede CO, travel 7 miles west on State highway 149. Turn left and travel southwest on Forest Road 523 for 8 miles and you will come to a sharp switchback. The trailhead is here taking off to the west right up Trout Creek itself.
