About this campground

The Muddy Creek trail is 2.2 miles long. It begins at Forest Trail 2172 and ends at Forest Boundry. The trail is open for the following uses: Hiking and Horseback Riding

Getting there

From Rifle, head east to Silt at exit 97. Turn right at the top of the ramp and then left. Turn at the first right to the "Y" then turn right and follow Dry Hollow Road (CR331) to West Divide Road (CR344) to the forest boundary. The road then becomes Forest District Road 800. Stay on that for a short distance until you see the sign for Cayton Ranger Station then turn right.
