About this campground

This trail system offers 10 kilometers of nordic trails groomed by the Telluride Nordic Association for skate and classic skiing. The trails are on gentle, rolling terrain which is suitable for skiers of all abilities.  Trail Map

Getting there

From Telluride, travel 4 miles west on State Hwy 145. Turn left at the first highway intersection, continuing south on State Hwy 145 for approx. 8 miles to the Forest Service Matterhorn Work Center located on the east side of the highway. The Work Center is about 1/4 mile immediately south of the Matterhorn Campground.
