About this campground

The Hotel Boulderado, built in 1909 and a member of Historic Hotels of America® since 1996, was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. Historic Hotels of America is the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation® for recognizing and celebrating the finest historic hotels across America. A combination of the words "Boulder" and "Colorado," the Hotel Boulderado was so titled to forever remind guests where they had stayed. Boulder's first luxury hotel, the Boulderado opened to admiring crowds on New Year's Day 1909, and it was described in the daily paper as the "pride of the city." This beautiful landmark building has been meticulously restored to its original grandeur, from the breathtaking stained glass ceiling above the lobby, to the elegant antique and reproduction Victorian-style furnishings throughout. The Hotel Boulderado is located one block from the Pearl Street Pedestrian Mall in the heart of Boulder's historic shopping and restaurant district, and just one mile from the University of Colorado.
