About this campground

Clark Point Overlook Trail is 0.8 miles long. It begins at Forest Trail 2158 and ends at the overlook. The trail is open for the following uses: Hiking and Horseback Riding

Getting there

From Rifle, head east on I-70 for 15 miles. At the New Castle exit (105), turn left at the ramp and follow the signs into New Castle. At 7th Street (County Road 245) turn right and stay on it for approximetely 12 miles to the parking lot. Turn right on Forest District Road 819 and go east to the trailhead. .
