About this campground
Lake and stream fishing. Day Use fee area during summer months. Bear Lake Campground is 1/4 mile away from lake. There is a 3/4 mile non-motorized trail between Bear Lake and Blue Lake.
Getting there
To get there from La Veta, drive south on SH 12 for 15 miles to FSR 422. Turn right onto FSR422 and follow it for 5 miles until you reach the Bear Lake Parking area, one mile past Blue Lake.
