About this campground
The Tucson Unified School District (TUSD) provides a combination of comprehensive arts experiences for teachers and students, arts integration training for teachers, direct interaction with local teaching artists, exposure to performing and visual arts venues, and opportunities for creative endeavors, so that the arts become an integral part of each child's life. TUSD's collaboration with the Smithsonian Institution is intended to supplement TUSD's ARTSmobile and expand the district's programming in fine and performing arts. The touring ARTSmobile exhibits a rotating portion of the district's collection of more than 10,000 artifacts from Africa, Europe, the Americas and Asia.
