About this campground

Take Off Point provides free public fishing and boating access to Lake Havasu. Take Off Point includes parking, restaurants and universally accessible fishing docks.  A valid Arizona fishing license is required for Arizona resident and non-resident anglers 10 years of age or older fishing any public accessible water in Arizona. Youth under the age of 10 and blind residents do not need to purchase a state fishing license to fish in Arizona. Learn more on the Arizona Game and Fish Department website. Take Off Point was developed through the Lake Havasu Fisheries Improvement Program, a cooperative partnership. From Take Off Point, visitors can also access any of the 73 boat-in campsites along the Arizona shoreline of Lake Havasu.

Getting there

Take-Off Point is located 16 miles south of Lake Havasu City. Access is on Alt Hwy 95 at Parker Dam on the Arizona side.
