Next > There are a number of reasons to have a picnic at Lake Mary Narrows. You might be interested in fishing for the walleye, trout, and channel catfish that live in Upper Lake Mary while enjoying your picnic at the nearby picnic tables. It can also serve as a great place to take a time out from cruising in your boat, which may be anything from a canoe to a jet boat on this upland lake where there is no restriction on boat motor size. On the other hand, if you're a bird watcher, you may want to come here to see the migrating waterfowl or wintering eagles that regularly put in an appearance at the lake. In any of these cases and more, you'll find an afternoon at Lake Mary Narrows a varied and enjoyable experience. In addition to the boat launch and parking, you can expect clean vault toilets, picnic tables and cooking grills. Getting there
Location: 13 miles southeast of Flagstaff on paved roads. Elevation is 7,000 feet. GPS (Narrows boat launch, Map): 35°03'52.1"N 111°30'13.0"W Access: Drive 13 miles south from Flagstaff on Forest Highway 3 (Lake Mary Road).
