About this campground

Overview Bypass a summer bummer by pitching your tent at South Fork Campground. Conveniently located along the South Fork of the Burnt River, South Fork Campground offers 12 tent/trailer sites and two tent-only sites nestled under the cool pine and fir trees. There’s nothing fishy about the activities here and there is something for everyone: fishing, off-roading, hiking, and even hunting! The campground is very popular in the late spring through fall for fishing, hiking, hunting and OHV riding on the nearby Blue Mountain OHV Trails. Primary use season is from May to September. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 6 am. Facilities South Fork Campground has 14 sites, each with picnic table, fire ring and parking space.

Getting there

From Unity, Oregon travel west in town on Highway 26 to South Fork Burnt River Road (County Road 600); Turn left on the South Fork Burnt River Road and go about 7 miles to the Forest Boundary; The road becomes Forest Road 6005 at the Forest Boundary; Continue on Forest Road 6005 for about 0.5 miles to campground; Entrance is on left side of the road.
