About this campground

Overview Irondyke Forest Camp is a small rustic facility located along the Wild and Scenic Lostine River. Situated near the river in the cool pine and fir trees, the site is popular for summer and fall camping and hunting. The campground provides 5 sites and opportunities to explore Eagle Cap Wilderness or to enjoy nearby Hells Canyon. The primary use season is from early June to the end of September. Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Facilities Irondyke Campground provides 5 campsites with picnic tables, fire rings and parking spaces.

Getting there

From Enterprise, Oregon travel west on Highway 82 for 10 miles to Lostine, Oregon; In Lostine turn left at Lostine River Road and go 7 miles; The Lostine River Road turns into Forest Road 8210 at Forest Boundary; Continue 7.5 miles on Forest Road 8210 to Forest Camp entrance on right side of road.
