About this campground

Overview Located at the end of a narrow winding forest road, Boulder Park Campground receives visitors escaping the rising summer heat.  The campground is suitable for pack and riding stock uses with a loading ramp, 'star' bunk feeders for 6-8 head and trailer parking. The campground is adjacent to the Wild and Scenic Eagle Creek offering beautiful views of the nearby Eagle Cap Wilderness and Wallowa Mountains. Boulder Park Campground is set near the Main Eagle Trailhead which offers an extensive system of trails going into the Eagle Cap Wilderness.  Campers without stock are welcome but may prefer Two Color Campground located three miles down the road Primary Use Season is June to October Quiet hours are from 10pm to 6am Facilities Boulder Park Campground has 7 sites, each with fire rings, picnic tables and parking spots, along with some facilities suitable for stock use.

Getting there

From Baker City, Oregon head north on Interstate 84 for 5 miles to exit 298; Turn right off Interstate 84 to State 203 Highway and travel 18 miles to Medical Springs, Oregon; In Medical Springs turn right on Big Creek Road and go 1.5 miles to Forest Road 67; Turn left on Forest Road 67 and go about 14 miles to Forest Road 77; Turn left on Forest Road 77 and go 0.5 miles to Forest Road 7755; Turn right onto FSR 7755 to go up Eagle Creek; the campground is about 3.5 miles up Forest Road 7755. From La Grande, Oregon go approximately 25 miles southeast on Oregon State 203 to Medical Springs, Oregon; In Medical Springs turn left on Big Creek Road and go 1.5 miles to Forest  Road 67; Turn left on Forest Road 67 and go about 14 miles to Forest Road 77; Turn left on Forest Road 77 and go 0.5 miles to Forest Road 7755; Turn right on FSR 7755 to go up Eagle Creek; the campground is about 3.5 miles up Forest Road 7755.
