Overview If a campground with riverside trails and great bird watching opportunities sounds appealing, Bird Track Springs Campground may be the place for you. This campground is just a short drive from I-84 on State Highway 244 through river-side farm land. The campground has 22 campsites nestled beneath towering ponderosa pine trees in the Grand Ronde River valley. In addition, the Bird Track Interpretive Trail is located on the other side of the Highway and provides a 1.2 mile trail along the Grande Ronde River with 5 smaller spur trails which wind along the river and through cottonwood trees Primary use season is May -October. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 6am. Facilities Bird Track Springs Campground has 22 campsites with picnic tables, fire rings and parking spurs.

Getting there

From La Grande, Oregon travel north on Interstate 84 for about eight miles; exit the interstate onto the Ukiah/Hilgard exit number 252 onto State Highway 244 towards Ukiah. Travel on State Highway 244 for about six miles. The campground is on the left side of the road, directly across the highway from Bird Track Interpretive Site.
