About this campground

The Rabbit Valley staging area is located in the McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area, roughly 30 miles west of Grand Junction, Colorado, near the Utah border. The McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area offers stunning views and endless recreational opportunities ranging from camping, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and off-roading. Getting there

From I-70, take exit 2 and turn south until you come to the BLM kiosk. Follow the map and directions to specific campgrounds and loops. The Rabbit Valley Staging Area is located in the McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area near the Colorado-Utah border. To get there from the Grand Junction area, take I-70 West to Exit 2 (Rabbit Valley), turn south over the interstate, and follow the dirt road left to the main parking and staging lots
