Castle Clinton restrooms are closed due to a maintenance issue. At the moment, we are not able to determine when they will reopen. Additional public restrooms are available in Battery Park and at the Staten Island Ferry Terminal.

Due to damage from winter ice, the Talisman-Barrett Beach dock is closed. NPS staff are evaluating options for repairs. There is no timeline for restoration. Due to extremely hazardous conditions Gateway National Recreation Area has restricted access to sections of Jacob Riis Park. Erosion has created unsafe conditions from Bays 1-5, and portions of the eastern beach are closed.
